Teofil “Theo” Ciszewski, 85, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Hanson Hospice in Stevensville.
Mass will be Celebrated 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 16, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware Ave., Benton Harbor, MI 49022. Burial will be held at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Theo was born March 22, 1939 in Poland to Wladyslaw & Maria (Horak) Ciszweski. He served his country in the United States Army from 1962 until 1964. Theo worked as a Tool and Die maker for many years. He had a passion for woodworking, especially making special canes for all his family members & friends. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
Theo is survived by his sisters Sophie (Jerome) Zielinski and Jessica Wojtowicz; and many nieces and nephews. Theo was preceded in death by his parents, sister Julia Natkanski and brother Peter Ciszewski.
