Stephen's Obituary

Stephen Francis “Steve” Poulson, passed away suddenly on December 28, 2024, at 58 years of age. He was born on June 15, 1966, in Mount Prospect, Illinois and grew up in Stevensville, Michigan. Steve was the 4th child of five children to Daniel and Phyllis Poulson and youngest brother to his siblings. He graduated from Lakeshore High School and then attended Lake Michigan College (A.S.), Western Michigan University, and graduated from Indiana Christian University. He was an ordained minister with The World Harvest Ministers Network. Steve worked in a few different arenas, but his most rewarding and longest endeavor was in ministry, serving as an active minister & counselor for the Prayer Line with LeSEA Ministries in South Bend, Indiana for more than 25 years. Steve had a gift for comforting people who were hurting. Steve loved his Lord and his Bible. He enjoyed sharing wonderful conversations grounded in his faith, whenever he felt led. His hobbies included reading, container gardening and spending time with his family. He also had a great fondness for animals.

Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents and father, Daniel Poulson. He is survived and greatly missed by his mother, Phyllis; brothers, Mike, Greg (Kim), Chris; sister, Vicki (Mike) Heck; nephew, Ryan Heck; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends.

He will be missed by many, but we are comforted in believing he was received in the loving arms of his Savior and confident we will see him again.❤️✝️

As a final gift of kindness and dedication to his Savior on this Earth, Steve blessed numerous people with organ donation through the Gift of Life Michigan.
