Stanley Westley Allen, 73, of Baroda, passed away, September 9, 2024 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Stanley was born November 8, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Funjay & Bertha (Payton) Allen. He graduated from Lake Michigan Catholic High School. He was employed for many years as a truck driver for Birch Printing in Benton Harbor. Stanley loved music. He played the guitar & keyboard, but mainly enjoyed playing the drums. He served as the drummer for The Midnight Sun Band of Southwest Michigan. Besides music, Stan cherished the time spent with his family and many friends.
Stanley is survived by his children Melody Allen of Indianapolis, Marcus Gungler of Benton Harbor, Lindsey Moran of St. Joseph; his grandchildren Cameron Taylor of Orlando, FL, Daisha Gungler of Benton Harbor, Mariah, Jalen & Juwan Isom of Indianapolis, Indiana & Murphy Moran of St. Joseph; his significant other Barbara Norris of Baroda; a host of extended family members; and friends too numerous to mention. Stan was preceded in death by his parents, his son Christopher Allen in 1988, his siblings-Betty Jean (McGee) Beck & Larry Allen, his nephew Jeremy McGee, and Betty Gungler.
