Shirley's Obituary
On April 20th, Shirley Milne, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at her home in Florida with Thomas (Dad) Milne by her side.
Shirley was born on October 11, 1948 in Niles, MI to Barney and Della Ward where she was one of the 6 girls. Her siblings are JoAnne (Gary) Collier, Carol (Bill) Kreutz, Pat (Darrel) Williams, Judy (Jerry) Wojahn, and Dell (Rex) Jackson.
She was a graduate of Buchanan in 1967 where she married the same year to Danny Cronin. They had two boys Andy and Philip Cronin. Her grandchildren Peyton, Philip JR, Bella, and Mia Cronin
Shirley retired from State of Michigan as an interpreter for the deaf. Shortly before retiring from the state, Thomas and Shirley married in 2003. They both enjoyed traveling seeing family and their grandchildren, being active in Gulf Coast Christian Church, and a member of #2108 Elks Lodge in Pensacola, FL.
Visitation will be held at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI on Wednesday, May 3rd from 5-7 PM. A celebration of life service will take place on Thursday, May 4, at 1 pm., also at the funeral home. Shirley will be laid to rest at Oakridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
