Sherry's Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 14, 2025 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware, Benton Harbor. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Sherry was born May 25, 1970 in Grand Rapids to Robert & Kathy (Dart) Duprey. She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School, Class of 1988, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Valley State University and a Master’s Degree from Indiana University at South Bend. On July 18, 1992, she married Keith Dine at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Sherry was employed for many years as the IT Director for healthcare software, until her health forced her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph. In her free time, Sherry enjoyed reading, camping, spending time with her canine companions Bruce & Sam, but most of all with her family and many friends.
Sherry is survived by her husband Keith; her children-Ashley (Jacob) Banson of Battle Creek, Lucas Dine of Stevensville; her mother Kathy Duprey of Middleville, MI; her siblings-Jeff (Juli) Duprey of Ada, MI, Stephanie (Istiaq) Mohammad of Grand Rapids; Keith’s siblings-Mark (Marianne) Dine of St. Joseph, Tim Dine of Hudsonville, MI, John (Jennifer) Dine of St. Joseph, Wayne (Renee) Dine of Berrien Springs, Valerie (Joseph) Meines of Stevensville; and numerous nieces & nephews. Sherry was preceded in death by her father Robert in 2024, by Keith’s parents Wayne & Jane Dine, by Keith’s brother Scott Dine, and by her faithful canine companion Oakley.
