Sandra's Obituary
Sandra (Sandy) Lynn Blahuta, age 68, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. She was born on August 18, 1956, to Jim Sr. and Betty (Hoover) Cripe in Goshen, Indiana.
A memorial service for Sandy will take place on November 11, 2024, at 11:00 am at First Church of God (708 S. George St. Decatur, Michigan 49045.) For a more lasting memory, donations in Sandy’s name can be made out to First Church of God - Decatur. Arrangements entrusted to the Newell Chapel, 83313 M-51, Decatur, Michigan 49045. 269-423-2561.
Sandy was an incredibly loving spirit who had a great passion for her family and for animals. She enjoyed playing euchre, bingo, card games, and board games. Sandy loved others deeply and could always be counted on to lend an ear or advice. Sandy and her husband were able to retire to Cedar Lake where she enjoyed her daily pontoon rides. She will be greatly missed by her beloved friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Adam Blahuta; children, Misty (Joseph) Lewandoski, Ryan Reeves; grandchildren, Monica McDaniel (Colin), Logan Lewandowski, Ashley Lewandowski; great-grandchild, Leonidus McDaniel; mother, Betty Cripe; and brother, Jim Cripe, Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Cripe, Sr.
