Sally Baucom (Hertsel), 67, of Cassopolis, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 12, 2024.
She was born on August 14, 1956, to her parents Ralph and Esther Hertsel.
Sally was a 1974 graduate of Cassopolis High School. She was an avid lover of good music and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Her voice and laughter will be truly missed.
Surviving are her two sons – Burler Baucom and Shane Hertsel; four granddaughters – Kiara, Ana, Shayna and Olivia; five grandsons – Kristian, Kameron, Amarion, Christopher, and Bubby; two sisters – Sharon Smith (John Smith) and Diane Areklet (John Areklet); brother – Danny Hertsel (Gail Hertsel) and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
Sally was preceaded in death by her parents Ralph and Esther, her brother David Hertsel, sister-in-law Cheri Hertsel, her sister Betty Olszewski (Jerry Olszewski) and her beloved son Darius Hertsel.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Clark Chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
