Ryan's Obituary
Ryan Joseph Hopper, 33, of Niles, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at home in Niles.
Ryan was born on March 25, 1991, in St. Joseph, MI. He graduated from Brandywine High School and continued his education at Southwestern Michigan College.
Ryan enjoyed drawing, fishing with his dad, Dave, and especially playing ball with his daughter, Bailey. He also maintained a relationship with his grandfather, John Hopper that was very meaningful.
Ryan truly had a good heart and wanted the people around him to be happy. He always maintained a good sense of humor and enjoyed making others smile more than anything. Ryan cherished and loved his family, and he is dearly loved by them.
Ryan is survived by his parents, David and Margaret “Peggy” (Rohl) Hopper; daughter, Bailey Hopper, sister, Lauren Nichole Hopper and grandmother, Gwendolyn R. Hopper. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Hopper.
A private celebration of life service will be held with the family. Interment will take place at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles. Memorial contributions in Ryan’s name may be made to Brandywine Community Schools to assist in special education. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.swemchapel.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swem Chapel, Buchanan.
