Ruby's Obituary
Ruby L Smith, born October 30, 1939, passed away on January 6th 2025,
in her home surrounded by her family. She was proceeded in death by her
husband James Virgil Smith and her son James Dean Smith.
Ruby is survived by her 6 children Jack D Smith, Ted Smith and wife Tresa,
Mike Smith and wife Debbie, Vincent Smith and wife Dori, Angeleana Smith
and husband Tracy Bromley and Alex Smith and 15 grandchildren, Christopher
Angelique, Debbie, Jacquelyn, Carleen, Valerie, Sarah, Joshua, Amanda,
Nathan, Amy, Adam, Brandy, Brianna, Braden.
Ruby was a dedicated housewife that cared for her 7 children and all their
friends and at times many relatives that needed a home. She loved to cook
and care for others. She was a collector of all things to do with the movie
stars especially Elvis Presley. Ruby loved to laugh and make others laugh,
she always had stories to tell. Ruby loved to vacation with her grandchildren,
but sometimes they would eat their leftover sandwiches while they were
sleeping.
Ruby was a good housewife and good mother which can be attributed to caring
for all her siblings while growing up she will be dearly missed.
