Patricia's Obituary
Patricia Ann Shepard, 89, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024 at her home in Decatur. She was born February 4, 1935 in Comstock, MI to Claude and Myrtle (Caswell) Pierce.
Patricia worked at Bronson hospital primarily as a nurses’ aid and laundry assistant for many years before retiring. In her spare time, Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her husband. Pat is survived by her children, Ellen Varnesdeel, Jim (Debbie) Shepard, John Shepard, and Tom (Heather) Shepard; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many extended family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Shepard; eight brothers; eight sisters; and her parents.
The family will be celebrating Pat’s life privately.
