Pamela L. Arkauskas, 52, of Bangor, passed away early Sunday morning March 17, 2024, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.
She was born on September 14, 1971, in St. Joseph, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Patricia (Garrett) Arkauskas. Pam grew up in Bangor and was a 1989 graduate of Bangor High School. She earned her Associate Degree in Business Management from Lake Michigan College. On September 14, 2001, Pam was united in marriage to Johnny Pittman. She was employed for the past 23 years at Hometown Pharmacy in Bangor. Pam loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and hiking. She was very proud of and spent a lot of time at her cabin in Baldwin. Pam had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. She was also a team sponsor for Relay-For-Life for the past 5 years.
Surviving are her husband of 22 years – Johnny Pittman; her daughter – Lucy (Mathew Seitz) Arkauskas; two stepsons – Jason (Antionia) Pittman and Justin (Ellie) Pittman; four grandchildren: Krea, Emery, Collins, and Corbin; brother – Joe (Cherity) Arkauskas; nephew – Joesph Arkauskas; and niece – Maison Arkauskas.
Honoring her wishes, private family graveside services for Pamela were held in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac. Arrangements were entrusted to Clark Chapel and Cremation Services – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 405 Center St, Dowagiac.
