Mellisa Ann Hernandez, 41, passed away on February 27, 2025, at Centrica Rose Arbor Place in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mellisa was born November 14, 1983 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Patricia Brown, Tennessee and Nathan Brown, Grand Junction.
She is survived by her siblings; James (Gayle) Brown, Allegan, Randy (Sam) Brown, Grand Junction, sister; Misty (Gary) Wells, Lawrence and stepbrother; Janden Martin (Heather Sego), Grand Junction.
Mellisa is preceded in death by her parents, James Brown and Patricia Brown.
Mellisa was family to everyone she came across. She especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, Jada Brown, Airieanna Brown, Gary Wells, Andy Wells, Violet Brown, Martina Blas, Miguel Blas and JoJo Blas. She was general manager at Little Ceasars Pizza in South Haven. Mellisa loved to shop and get a good bargain. One of her favorite things to do was decorate and celebrate the holidays, especially Halloween. She adored her dogs and lizard.
