Mary Ann “Teddi” Kilburn, 75, of St. Joseph, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at The Willows, St. Joseph.
A celebration of life service will be held at noon on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan with Pastor David Habicht officiating. Private burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 11:30-noon also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, Riverwood Center. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.swemchapel.com.
Teddi was born on December 12, 1948. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1966 and went on to earn her associate’s degree. She dedicated many years to her work as a Lab Technician at Berrien General Hospital, a role she took great pride in. Teddi also enjoyed crafts, including knitting and creating hooked rugs.
Teddi is survived by her son, Jason Kilburn; daughter, Heather Koester; granddaughter, Abigail Koester and sister, Bonnie Eaton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Adah (Lear) Poorman and brothers, Richard and Paul Poorman.
