Mary Katherine Foster, 76, of Benton Harbor, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at her home.
A celebration of life homegoing service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Heritage Chapel, 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs, MI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 am. A graveside ceremony will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 17, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI, next to her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.heritage-chapel.com.
Mary was born on June 13, 1948, to Buddy and Lula (McGee) Cross in Portageville, MO. She graduated from Portageville High School in 1966. Mary was a devoted member at Victorious Life Christian Center, Benton Harbor. Professionally she served many years at Bosch, retiring at 60 to care for her husband. Mary enjoyed keeping life simple, but most of all cherished the Lord and her family.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Teresa Foster; goddaughters, Antwaniqua Hill, Deana Snerling and Felicia Wiley; grandchildren, Robert Foster III, Brittney Foster, Chavea Foster, Denzeil Dade, Arthur Robertson, Kwasi Bishop and sister, Faye (Stanley) McGill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Foster, Sr.; son, Robert Foster, Jr. and siblings, Mo Dean Parson, Gerald Cross, Gladys Hollis, Bonnie Hopkins, Jean Smith, Junior Cross and Joyce Bettuo.
