Marion “Keith” Everman, 86, of Dowagiac, passed away on Wednesday morning, August 28, 2024, at his home following a long battle with cancer
He was born on May 9, 1938, in Niles, MI, the son of the late Otto and Helen (McBain) Everman. On November 7th, 1959, he was married to Mary Ann Leach in Niles. Keith was employed by Modine Manufacturing (formerly Rudy Furnace and Sundstrand Heat Transfer) for over 40 years, until his retirement in 1995.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Mary Ann Everman; two children – Pamela (Don Haley) Everman and Scott (Deb Hunsberger) Everman; three grandchildren – Sarah McGrew and Amber Turnbow; seven great-grandchildren; Ethin, Kristin, Kayla, Amya, Robert Jr, Kamron and one particular great-grandson who stole his heart, “The Boy”, Brayden Allen; brother – Ernest Everman; special friend – Dale Ormican; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; five siblings – Lester Everman, Dorothy Coshow, Harriett Chaffee, Dena Chorba Amspaugh and Ralph Everman; and favorite granddaughter – Ashley Turnbow.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, September 6, 2024, at South Wayne Cemetery, 22301 Gage St, Dowagiac. Friends may visit with Keith’s family from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Friday at Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Home, 405 Center St, Dowagiac.
