Marguerite's Obituary
Marguerite “ Marge” Herman, 85 of Coloma went home to be with her Lord Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday., Dec. 15, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Marge was born on Dec. 19,1938 in Benton Harbor. After marrying Jack Herman, raising her children, she pursued a Nursing degree. This was her lifelong career, she retired after 40 years of caring for the elderly in Nursing Homes throughout the area.
In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, tending to her flower gardens for hours. Also spending time with her horses, dogs and barn cats which she also considered family.
Marge is preceded in passing by her husband, Jack Herman, grandson Christopher Herman, beloved brother Larry Schultz, parents and sister. She is survived by her children Jack (Patty) Herman of Galien, Mary Herman of Coloma, Larry Herman of Coloma, Ed ( Nancy) Herman of Casselberry, FL ,grandchildren Blake and Brooke and many nieces and nephews. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and the family has chosen to remember her privately. The family would like to give a special thank you to her Hospice team, Stephanie, Karin, Charsi and Ray. Anyone wishing to make a Memorial donation may give to the Caring Circle Hospice.
