Lorraine Seeland, 78, of St. Joseph, passed away, Friday, November 1, 2024 at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph.

Lorraine was born September 30, 1945 in Dairyland, Wisconsin to Fred & Effie Kingren. She graduated high school in Dairyland and on September 13, 1967 she married Donald Seeland in Superior, Wisconsin. Don’s work brought the family to St. Joseph and Lorraine gained employment at Whirlpool Corporation as an administrative assistant, retiring after many years of service. Lorraine enjoyed her work and dedicated her life to her job and her family.
Lorraine is survived by her son Gary (Tonyia) Seeland of Dexter, MI; two grandchildren-Thomas & Katelyn Seeland; her sister Marjorie (Allen) Rand; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don, two sons-Bradley & Duane Seeland, and her siblings-Carl Kingren, Audrey Kingren Horner & Jessie Kingren Whitus.
