Linda Louise (Foss) Bogue of St. Joseph, MI, formerly of Brook, IN passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on May 18, 2024 at 11 AM at Niles Avenue Baptist Church, 1301 Niles Avenue St. Joseph, MI with Pastor Michael Willis officiating. Friends can visit with Linda’s family from 10 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Niles Avenue Baptist Church.
Linda was born on October 19, 1947 to Gordon and LaVonne (Beavers) Foss in Hammond, IN. Linda graduated from Morton High School and later from Indiana University. Linda worked as a high school teacher for Calumet Baptist Schools, then later for Morgan Township High School, both in Northwest Indiana. On April 6, 1968, Linda married the love of her life, David Bogue, in Hammond, IN.
Linda was a member of Niles Avenue Baptist Church, and in her spare time enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and seeing her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her children, Cynthia (Joe) Vojvoda of Minooka, IL and Timothy (Vanessa) Bogue of St. Joseph, MI; Grandchildren, Joey and Jennifer Vojvoda, Michaela, Gregory, Dylan, and Amber Bogue; and Julie-Ann, Jenna, and Lucas McClure; and sister, Phyllis Jones.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and LaVonne (Beavers) Foss; husband, David Bogue; sister, Yvonne Foss; and brother, Kenneth Foss.
