Kathleen L. Bober, 71, of Dowagiac, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 12, 2024, at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born on May 9, 1953, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Logan) Jansky. On September 14, 1974, Kathy was united in marriage to Michael J. Bober. She enjoyed painting and was very proud of the several paintings she had made over the years.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years – Mike Bober; three children – karen (Jerad) Bice, Robert (Ashley Wilson) Bober and Joseph (Jessica) Bober; five grandchildren – Bailey, Bradley, Dakota, Blake and Ava; four siblings – Helen Jean (Mike) Stewart, Lindy Fisher, Christine Hoffman; and Raymond II (Linda) Jansky; and several nieces and nephews.
Honoring Kathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Dowagiac.
