Judith Kae Marcoullier (nee Mashke), 84, of Suquamish, Washington, peacefully passed away, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in Newport Beach, California.
A Graveside Celebration of Life Service & Burial will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 24, at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph, MI. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Judith may be made to www.kidneycancer.org. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St.

Judy was the middle of three daughters born to Amil and Leatha Mashke on November 17, 1939 in Benton Harbor, MI. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1957 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree and teaching credential from Eastern Michigan University.
After college, Judy moved to Southern California where she was an elementary school teacher for Garden Grove Unified School District for 35 years. In 1985, she married Richard Marcoullier in Newport Beach, CA and in 1999, she retired and moved to Suquamish, Washington. Judy was an artistic and creative individual and in her free time enjoyed painting, decorating and gift basket making. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judith is survived by her two daughters-Karen (Deszon Claiborne) Coopman of San Francisco, CA, Stacie (David Franey) Coopman of Newport Beach, CA; her stepson Todd Marcoullier; grandchildren-Kailan, Danika and Naima Claiborne, Grant Franey; her sister Janet McPharlin; and numerous special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Amil and Leatha Mashke, her husband Richard in 1999, her sister Ruth Ann (Edgar) Ross and brother-in-law Philip McPharlin.
