John's Obituary
John Phillip Sassano, 62, of Stevensville, MI passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024, at his home.
John was born July 27, 1961, in Gary, IN to John & Phyllis (Jordan) Sassano. He graduated from Lakeshore High School. John was the assistant manager at Village Foods in Hyde Park, IL for many years and enjoyed investing in several properties over the years. John had a love for motorcycles and corvettes and had quite the collection. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed going for bike rides, gardening, and his cat.
John is survived by his father John Sassano; siblings Susan Ullig, Nancy (Ron) Trinidad, Jill Sassano, Jim (Becky) Sassano and Laura (Mike) Camburn; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his mother and brother Pete Sassano.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to share a memory of John online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com
