Jerome "Jerry"'s Obituary
Jerome Franklin Slattery, known to his family and friends as Jerry, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024. He was born on December 6, 1965 in St. Joseph and was the son of John Thomas and Esther Marie Slattery.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 16 at 3:00 pm at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd, St. Joseph, 269-556-9450. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family c/o Jim Slattery.
Jerry is survived by his ex-wife, Laurie (Ellis) Slattery of Coloma, MI; their three children, Megan (Aaron) Thomas of Coloma, Katelyn (Benny) Boyd of Berrien Springs, MI, and Kenny Slattery of Coloma; brothers, Daniel Slattery of Lansing, MI, John (Gail) Slattery of Ellenboro, NC, and Jim (Tina) Slattery of St. Joseph; sister-in-law, Missy Slattery of Mason, MI; nieces and nephews, Adam Slattery of Bradenton, FL, Laura Haase of Cucamunga, CA, Sara Smith of Grand Rapids, MI, Brittany (Kurt) Force of Mason, Jasmine Slattery of Stevensville, MI and Andrea Slattery of Diamond, IL.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Patrick Slattery and Timothy Slattery; sister and brother-in-law, Keiren and Art Hasse III; aunt and uncle, Mary and Frank Deleeuw; and aunt, Patricia Slattery.
