Jeffery D. Justus, 55, a lifelong resident of Dowagiac, passed away on Sunday afternoon, September 29, 2024, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in Saint Joseph, MI.
He was born on May 26, 1969, in Dowagiac, the son of Jimmie and Bonnie (Sink) Justus. Jeff was a 1987 graduate of Decatur High School.
Surviving are his parents; two children – Matthew Wayne (Sarah) Gross-Justus and Taylor Dawn Gross-Justus; two grandchildren – Rachel and Abigail; sister – Nancy (Chuck) Smith and Steven (Jamey) Justus; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Honoring Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, Dowagiac.
