Henry's Obituary
Henry Frederick Ford peacefully passed away on February 21, 2025, in Stevensville at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments and will always be remembered for his ability to mix and spin his way into our hearts.
Henry was born February 10, 1961, in Holland, Michigan, to Lidell Ford Sr and Mary Lucille (Barnes), the sixth of their ten children. He attended Fennville Public Schools and went on to graduate from Fennville High School. His love for music and live entertainment was his true passion, which led Henry to become self-employed, owning H&F Electronics LLC and Thin-Spin Productions DJ Services.
Throughout his life, Henry cherished spending time with family and friends. A devoted man of God, he served as a deacon at Lily of the Valley in Covert. He enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, and used his expertise in electronics to support his community with his generous and encouraging spirit.
Henry is survived by his five children: Jamal (Nicole) Steward, Dwight Steward, Rachel Ford, Cameron Ford, and Caleb Ford. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Illiana Watson, Raelyn Steward, Jamal Steward Jr., Cameron Ford Jr., Ivory Ford, and Cassius Ford. His siblings include Reginia Barnes of East Pointe, MI; Juanita Bridges of Alamogordo, NM; Lionell (Altra) Ford of Kalamazoo, MI; Glenn (Donna) Ford of Grand Rapids, MI; Eilene Neall of Niles, MI; Huston Ford of Covert, MI; Wayne Ford Sr. of Covert, MI; and Albert Ford of Kalamazoo, MI., and his special friend Angela Lynn Alexander. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Lidell Ford Sr. and Mary Lucille Hughes (Barnes); siblings, Helen Yvonne Ford, Helen Tushan Ford, and Lidell Ford Jr.; and nieces, Namyuki Tyson, Dacia Bridges, and Andrea Hollenbeck.
