Helen's Obituary
Helen Nadean Goodrum (88) died peacefully at home, on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024. She was born on January 28, 1936, in Hackleburg, AL to Leland and Margeret (Lelon) Berry. Nadean married Donald Goodrum, on September 2, 1956, in Benton Harbor, MI. Nadean supported Don and helped him run his business for many years. Nadean is survived by her husband Don, daughters Terry Bittner, Donna (William) Kershner, and Kelly Kietzerow, grandchildren Matthew (Tabatha) Yanke, Hannah (Tim) Fairbanks, James (Katilyn) Kershner, Travis Kershner, and Anna Kietzerow, 5 great-grandchildren, brother Roger (Judy) Berry, and many other close family members.
Nadean was preceded in death by both of her parents, her sisters, Fayrene Wolford and Mary Jo Snyder, her son-in-law Tim Bittner, and her granddaughter, Rachel Kietzerow.
There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Caring Circle of Corewell Health Lakeland for the wonderful care the Hospice personnel gave Nadean, or to Dysautonomia International (dysautonomiainternational.org) to help continue the research into the disorder that took her granddaughter.
