Harold's Obituary

Harold William Stoll, 94, of Three Rivers formerly of Decatur, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Three Rivers.

A graveside celebration of life will take place at 2:00pm, Monday, June 27, 2022 at Hamilton Cemetery, Decatur with Pastor Shawn Cook officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

Harold was born March 24, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Caroline (Fullriede) Stoll. Harold joined the Army in 1947 and received his GED in 1948. On June 16, 1956, he married the love of his life, Betty Rich. Harold was the owner of Stoll’s Superette at 7 Mile Corner, Decatur later moving to Birds, Illinois after purchasing the Birds Nest Bar and Restaurant. Harold was an avid golfer. Spending many days on the golf course with his family and friends.

Harold is survived by his children, Gary (Terri) Stoll and Sandra (Patrick) Scudder and; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Leah) Stoll, Justin (Lacey) Stoll, and Jennifer (Jon) Moyle,; and his great grandchildren, Kenzi Stoll, Jackson Stoll, Ryan Moyle, and Riley Moyle.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Stoll; his siblings, Dorothy McPhearson, Bill Stoll, Lillian Egner, and Charlie Stoll; and his parents.
