Harley was born on June 23, 2016, to John and Jill (Franke) Hart in Crown Point, IN. Although Harley was born with Trisomy 18, a condition that posed challenges, Her influence on her family and everyone she met was far from restricted. Her personality was abundant, captivating and she was often seen with a warm, infectious smile.
Harley was full of life and laughter. She loved to travel, swing, watch the trees move in the breeze, have the wind in her hair, splash in the water, play with balloons, do her “booms”, play in her bouncer, snuggle with her Da in their recliner, fall asleep every night in her mother’s arms and many other things.
Harley made a huge impact on everyone she met, especially her medical team. They all loved watching her thrive and prove people wrong about her diagnosis. She will always be an inspiration to others and will be forever our princess warrior. Rest in Eternal Peace Peapod, we love you. You will be missed beyond measure.
Harley is survived by her mother and father, Jill and John Hart; sister, Ashley (Bryce Lee) Franke; nieces & nephews, Ryleigh Lee and Grayson Lee; paternal grandparents, Edward and Virginia Hart; aunts, Kimberly (Brian) Brusak and Susan (Lance) Hartz; uncles, Jeff (Jennifer) Franke, Chris (Brie) Hart; great-aunt and godmother, Colleen (Jim) Franke-Perkins; dear friend and godmother, LuAnne O'Brien and many cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Owen Lee.
