Goldie was born on April 29, 1941, in Hayti, MO. On February 1st, 1958, she married the love of her life, Gerald Dean Snow, Sr. Professionally, she dedicated nearly twenty years at Avion Coach in Benton Harbor as a Final Finish Inspector. Later in her career, Goldie proudly served as a transporter of special needs children for Berrien Resa.
Goldie was a very caring mother, grandmother and friend, she would never turn anyone away. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and was avid about keeping an orderly home. Very strong-willed, Goldie accomplished anything she put her mind to, and is recognized by many as the strongest woman they know. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family at events and cookouts.
Goldie is survived by her children, Jerry (Alice) Snow, Jr., of Eau Claire, Cynthia (Thomas) Kilheeney of Seymour, TN and Terry Snow of Eau Claire; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene Marks and brothers-in-law, Wayne Accardi and Bill Callahan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Snow, Sr. in 1989; mother, Evelyn (Don) Butler; father, Joseph (Ruby) Akins; daughter, Penney (Tim) Kasun; grandson, Daniel Kasun; siblings, Lonnie Akins, Betty (Ray) Whitright, Marlene Accardi, Linda Callahan and brother-in-law, Ed Marks.
