Garnet Loretta Brown, 91, of Jupiter, Florida passed away on January 8th, 2024 in St. Joseph, Michigan.
A celebration of her full and wonderful life will be held at the Jupiter Community Center in Jupiter, Florida, on Thursday, January 18th , 2024 at 5pm.
Garnet was born in Union Town, Pennsylvania on May 17, 1932, to Francis and Minnie (Gordon) Straub. She had 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She grew up in Sylvania, Ohio and then resided in Florida for over 59 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur R. Brown and her longtime partner, Tommy Yesbick. She was also preceded by her siblings, Lou, Jack, Gloria, Mary, Sonny and Chuck.
Loving mother to Deborah (Ed) Sherman, Richard Brown (deceased), Kathie (Scott) Trauth, Barbara (Robert) Viens, and Todd Brown. Loving sister to Katherine LIca. Beloved grandmother to 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was devoted to her family and always offered an open door to extended family and friends.
