Celebration of Life
Frank Glenn Hanners, 67, of Benton Harbor, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Corewell Health Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan. He was born on October 26, 1956 in Watervliet, Michigan to Ernest Dale and Ruth (Reese) Hanners Frank married Susan (Icenogle) on March 9th, 1975. To their union, a son named Jon Hanners was born.
Frank served in the Armed Forces from 1973 to 1977 where he served as a chef. Frank worked at Hoffman Industries until retirement.
Frank loved taking care of his chickens and ducks. He loved plants also and had a degree in horticulture. Frank was always available to give help to those in need. Frank could do anything he put his mind to do.
Frank is preceded in death by his lifelong partner and beloved wife, Susan Hanners, along with his parents. Frank's siblings who preceded him in death are his brothers: Edward Hanners, and Steve Hanners.
Frank is survived by his son – Jon Hanners of Benton Harbor, Michigan.
brother: Mike; sisters: Chris, Mary and Violet.
Granddaughter Charlotte Snider, and many nephews and nieces along with other family and friends.
Frank will join Susan in burial at the Keeler Cemetery in Michigan.
