Frank was born on July 14, 1957, to Frank and Betty (Riley) in Benton Harbor. He graduated from Watervliet High School in 1976, where he was known for his athleticism and great hair. As a standout running back, Frank set many school records that still stand today.

In 1978, he married Rebecca Morey, they were married for over thirty years and had two sons. Professionally, Frank was a skilled carpenter, spending many years working for Arny Construction and eventually running his own business, Total Construction Services. Always willing to lend a hand, he assisted many people with their personal projects beyond his professional commitments.

Frank enjoyed bowling and softball leagues, being outside, riding Harley Motorcycles and playing cards on the weekends. As a father, he was actively involved in his sons’ lives, often coaching their sports teams, especially baseball. His fun-loving personality made him the life of any gathering, and he easily attracted people with his warmth. A dedicated fan of the Lions and NASCAR, particularly Kyle Bush, Franks greatest joy was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Frank is survived by sons, Mark (Kayla) Gargano of Plainwell, MI and Jeffery (Alexis) Gargano of Benton Harbor; grandchildren, Lacey Gargano, Blake Gargano Dawson Gargano and Koleson Gargano; siblings, Gary Gargano, Dave (Lisa) Gargano, Tom (Linda) Gargano, Tammy (Tim) Conrad; former spouse & close friend, Rebecca (Eric) Stalnaker and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Gargano.
