Evelyn was born February 3, 1923, on her home farm in Dowagiac to Karl and Rose (Krohne) Bakeman. Evelyn lived a long, active life – which included lots of traveling abroad, many days getting fresh air in her beautiful gardens, and lovingly creating treasured items for loved ones with her amazing seam work and crafting skills. She was also a member of the Elks Club in Dowagiac for many years. Evelyn will be missed by her brothers, Gerald (Sandy) Bakeman, and Maurice (Leslie) Bakeman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Williams; her siblings, Richard, Robert (Ruth), Charles (Jean), Ted (Kay), and Ronald (Evelyn) Bakeman, and Janice (William) Behnke; and her parents.
