Betty's Obituary
Elizabeth “Betty “Evans of South Haven passed away on November 30, 2024. Born in Chicago Illinois on April 20, 1940 to Joseph and Helen Connolly. United in marriage to the late Alan S. Evans on April 13, 1961.
Betty is survived by her daughter Katherine Anderson of Lampasas Texas.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Alan, sons Keith and David and brother William Connolly.
Betty was a registered nurse, working in health care her whole career. She started out at Grant Hospital where she worked for 20 years and then worked home health care for another 20 years before retiring. She was and avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and sudoku. Betty also loved going to the casino. She was a cat lover who took care of over 20 outdoor cats at her home. Betty will be deeply missed.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12 p.m. at Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 South Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan, 49090.
Pastor Eric Jarvis will officiate. Betty will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven.
