Edward A. Speckine, 88, of Buchanan passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.
Ed was born on July 19, 1934, in Stanford, TX. He graduated from Buchanan High School in 1954. Ed honorably served in the United States Army from 1959-1963. Professionally, Ed owned and operated Mr. Small Engine Repair in Buchanan and was a member of the Buchanan American Legion, Post 51.
Ed is survived by his son, Roger Speckine of Tampa, FL; daughter, Suzanne (Jeff) Blakeley of Kerrville, TX; grandchildren, Tyler (Kim) Henley of San Antonio, TX and Nichole (Brady) Rae of Kerrville, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swem Chapel, Buchanan. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.swemchapel.com.
