Delores V. Zebell, 93, of Buchanan, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Timbers of Cass County, Dowagiac.
A private, family celebration of life will be held. Burial will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 212 W. Front St., Buchanan. Delores was born on October 15, 1929, to Christian and Elizabeth (Webber) Stark in Baroda. She graduated from Buchanan High School, class of 1948. On June 11, 1948, she married Gerald L. Zebell, Sr. Professionally, Delores worked at Electro-Voice, retiring after 40 years of service. She truly enjoyed nature, especially watching all of the animals. Delores loved that she experienced the majority of her nature watching from her front porch, where she lived since 1954.
Delores is survived by her sons, Gerald, Jr. (Sheila) Zebell, Ronald (Kim) Zebell; grandchildren, Stanley (Michele) Zebell, Jennifer (Mark) Marsiglio, Bekka Stanley, Ginger Zebell, Jeff Zebell and Angie Henshaw; great-grandchildren, Ashley Damoth, AJ (Briana) Long, Sarah Long, Katie Zebell, Justin Henshaw, Emma Henshaw and Cameron Henshaw; three great-great-grandsons; sister, Jane (Chris) Schau and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris & Elizabeth Stark; husband, Gerald Zebell, Sr. and brothers, Richard, Charles and Gene Stark.
