David's Obituary
Dave, a beloved son who lived life on his own terms, departed from our midst on December 15th, succumbing to a sudden and unexpected heart attack. With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on the world and touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
Born on November 21, 1969, Dave exemplified a unique blend of individuality and resilience. He approached life with a rare authenticity, never compromising his values or principles. Whether facing triumphs or setbacks he navigated life’s journey with grace and an unwavering spirit.
An avid reader, Dave found solace and inspiration from the pages of countless books. His thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and he embraced literature as a source of enlightenment, comfort, and adventure. From the classics to contemporary works, his library reflected the breadth of his curiosity and the richness of his intellect.
Dave had an innate ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life. His contagious laughter, clever wit, and captivating storytelling created a lasting impression on friends, family, and colleagues.
A proud alumnus of St. Joseph High School, Dave earned varsity letters in both golf and tennis. His senior year, he was the Big 8 golf medalist and reached the semi-finals in the State tennis tournament. Continuing his passion for golf, he played on the Hope College golf team for four years, concurrently earning a degree in philosophy.
Dave is survived by his parents, Jeff and Evelyn Edmunds, his sister Kelsey, her husband David and nephews Ben and Connor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 269-556-9450.
