Charlyne's Obituary
Charlyne Evelyn Normand, 91, passed away on March 26, 2025, at the River Ridge Retirement Village in South Haven, Michigan. She was born May 2, 1933, to Evelyn Lucille Grey and Charles Richardson in Chicago, Illinois.
Visitation for Charlyne will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of her Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven Michigan 49090. Prince Covington of Life Bridge Church, South Haven will officiate.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Joy) Normand, daughter Kim (Tyrone) Normand Willingham, stepsister Rita Thomas, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Charlyne is preceded in death by her parents.
Charlyne graduated from Covert High School in 1951 and was a Class of ’79 graduate of Western Michigan University, BA. She worked as a Social Worker for the State of Michigan.
Charlyne was an active participant in the community and her church. She loved gardening, traveling and collecting elephants. She was a caring mother and devoted grandmother who cherished her time spent with family.
She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
