Brian's Obituary
Brian Henry Ward, 61, of St. Joseph, Michigan, passed away on August 25th, 2024 in Stevensville, Michigan.
A joint memorial service for he and his mother, Barbara, will be held on Thursday, September 12th at 12:00pm at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, Michigan, with visitation starting prior to that at 11:00am. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
Brian was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Clifford and Barbara Ward on January 22, 1963. He attended St. Joseph Public Schools. Brian has done many things over the years, including being a chef, a welder, plastic molding, carpet installation, and helping his friends build or repair just about anything. But of course, his favorite thing to do was always playing his guitar. Most recently with his bandmates in Fouryear Aftermath, and previously with Blind Justice. He was a self-taught guitar player who learned how to play anything by ear. He also enjoyed bowling throughout his life.
Brian was preceded in death by his fraternal grandparents, Raymond and Isabelle Ward and his maternal grandparents, Henry and Lucille Wilczynski.
Brian is survived by his father Clifford Ward, his mother Barbara Ward, three brothers Kenneth Ward, Charles (JoAnna) Ward, and Jeffery (Jana) Ward, a sister Cheryl (Mark) Skorupa and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
