Betty Joanne Taylor, 72, of Hartford, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Corewell Health Lakeland, St. Joseph.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Chapel, Berrien Springs. A celebration of life memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 10, from 11 AM until 1 PM at Watervliet Free Methodist Church, 7734 Paw Paw Ave., Watervliet, MI. Betty was born on March 21, 1952, to Aurthur, Sr., and Maudie (McCloud) Blodgett in Berrien Springs. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Being with family is what brought her the most joy. Betty enjoyed being a prankster and gathering recipes to send to her family and friends to try or “make the next time they were together”.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Bill) Johnson, Cheryl Johnson; grandchildren, Scott (Angie) Brant, Brittany (Donny) Busby, Bradley Sanders, Jr., Dillion Sanders, Marina Johnson, Kelsey Howell and Karlianne Howell; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Matlack, Trish Odegaard; brother, Kenny Blodgett; many beloved nieces and nephews including special niece, Tina Pullins and nephew, James Howell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurthor Sr., and Maude Blodgett; partner, Lonnie Johnson; son, Jesse Howell and siblings, Maude Beshire, Linda Sipe and Aurthor Blodgett, Jr.
