Lynn's Obituary
She was born on January 21,1949, in Dowagiac, one of five children to Robert Sr and Doris (Chambers) Pellow.
Lynn grew up in Indian Lake. She spent time as a Lifeguard and attended Dowagiac Union High School while working summers at Dog-N-Suds. After graduation, she worked several jobs while starting a family with David W. Ironside Sr. on September 16, 1967.
Some of her work accomplishments were Muskegon Piston Ring, Dana Corp, Walmart, Volunteer - CASA, Moose Lodge, caretaker to elderly and cancer survivors.
Lynn was always happiest when spending time with family and friends. Her laughter and sense of humor were infectious. She never missed an opportunity to be with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Whether it be cheering for them at a sporting event or attending grandparents’ day at their school, Lynn was always present. A few of her favorite activities were spending an evening playing cards with friends and gathering with parishioners at church services and functions. Not only was she there for all her family and friends, but she was a voice for those who could not find theirs. People who needed a listening ear naturally gravitated to Lynn. One could easily feel that Lynn had a listening ear, and an even bigger heart. She repeatedly helped those in need, often, with simple acts of everyday kindness.
Lynn will be dearly missed by her children - Kim (Flint) Wiles, David (Debra) Ironside Jr., Karen (Fred) Turk II, Brenda (Darren) Moore, Tammy (Larry) Parcher, Dan (Janel) Ironside, Karen Mollohan, Tom (Cathy) Fisher, Bobbie Jo Thompson (Doug Abernathy); grandchildren – Joey (Caela) Wiles, Katie Wiles (Dylan Himes), Ashley Turk, Michelle (Matthew) Glidden, David (Hollie) Ironside III, Miranda Ironside (Colin Buss), Anna Ironside (Andrew Bryant), AJ Sodt, Matt (Kim) Sodt, Cane Larkins, Tyler Ironside (Lydia Tapia), Dani (Harsha) Chandra-Sekhar, Spencer (Rachel) Snapp, Jaime Snapp (James Holubik), Kasey (Wayne) Wentworth, Kailin Glazier, Lyndsay Snapp, Corrine Marie Barton, Rebecca Fisher, Kelly (Christian) Moran, Thomas Fisher, Ezra Fisher, Arianna Fisher, and Amarah Fisher; great-grandchildren – Kane, Cora, Spencer, Amelia, Christian, Gabrielle, Zayne, Alexis, Matthew, James, Jia, Jacey, Frankie, Eliza, Huntley, Lilly, Holland, Trinity, Raegan, Chet, Brysyn, Carter, Zoie, Rileigh, Lucas, Jaxson, Sophia, Eli, Aubree, baby Wiles in March, and baby Ironside in September; brother – Bob (Karen) Pellow; sister-in-law – Vera Pellow; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
