Amy Nell Trowbridge, 84, of Sodus, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 4056 King Dr., Sodus, MI, where burial will also take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph. Amy was born May 20, 1940, in Kennett, MO to Virginia (Hamm) Smith. On March 28, 1956, she married Robert Wayne Trowbridge. Amy was a dedicated worker both in the home and as a stock clerk for Big Lots for 25 years. Amy loved her family and took great pride tending to their home, where she loved to be. In addition to being family oriented, she enjoyed bird watching, crocheting and working on crossword puzzles.
Amy is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert; daughters, Gina (John) Dykema of Dowagiac, Laurie (Steve) Ferrell of Temecula, CA and Sandy (Mark) Hart of Temecula, CA; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Smith; son, Scott Trowbridge; brother, Dennis Blazier; and sisters, Paula Fain and Brenda Wagner.
