Alex's Obituary

Alex Wolford, 28, of Stevensville passed away in a tragic accident on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 9, from noon to 3 p.m. at the FOP 96, 2665 Niles Road, St. Joseph MI. Alex was born on August 16, 1995 in Charleston SC. He later moved to Mishawaka IN and graduated from Penn High School in 2014. Alex pursued his profession as an electrician at Weaver Electric & Heating Corporation and Misch Manufacturing Company. He has been part of the IBEW Local 153 Union for the past 5 years, working on many construction projects throughout the region.
Alex met Alexa Klemm in 2016 and they spent 8 wonderful years together. They were married on June 13, 2024.
Alex loved to work with his hands. He was always working on a car, machinery or doing woodworking in his wood shop. He and Alexa both loved the outdoors. They spent time in the summer kayaking, fishing and hiking. Each year, they went to the Upper Peninsula to camp and hike. Alex also had a great love of animals. He and Alexa have 3 wonderful dogs, Molly, Riley and Poppy.
Alex is survived by his wife, Alexa; father, Todd (Breanna) Wolford; mother, Robyn (Jason) Lake; sister, Brittany Benton; stepbrother, Brandon Bower; aunt, Tori Lipsky; grandparents, Bob and Lynn Kiefer; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ron and Mary Klemm; brother-in-law, Jacob (Jordan) Rose; and nephews, Everett and Ottan Rose. Alex was preceded in death by uncle, Terry Lipsky and grandfather, Ross Wolford. Alex will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
