Mary Francis Rich

Mary Francis Rich, 60, of Bangor, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home. She was born December 16, 1957 to W. G. and Darris Louise Springer in St. Joseph, Michigan. Mary owned and operated an adult foster care home for several years. She also worked for PetLife in Otsego for 8 years.

Mary was the kindest, most caring person with the biggest heart. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister, and friend. She was a flower child with a free spirit and one of a kind. She loved frogs and her puppies along with her family. She will be forever loved and missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her father – W.G. Springer and nieces – Amanda Gofourth and Cheri Gilliland.

Mary is survived by her children – Hilary Rich of Bangor, Timothy Rich of Bangor, Britney (James) Stewart of Bo’ness, Scotland, mother – Darris Louise Springer of South Haven, siblings – Linda (Clifford) Gilliland of Allegan, Michigan, Patricia Keen of South Haven, and Jerry (Debbie) Springer of South Haven, grandchildren – Savanna Rose Postawa, Arabella Marie Lilly Stewart, Harmony AngeLyn Goodrich, Brenden Tru Williamson, Ethen Bishop Williamson, and Liliana Alexis Williamson, and nieces and nephews – Tymmothy Hough, Jessie Keen, Mary Miller, Brandy Cook, Valerie Springer, Linda June Gilliland, Betty Gilliland, and Whitney Gilliland, step-daughter – Patty Brink and family, and former spouse – Tim Rich.
