Nadine Ernestine Sicard

Nadine Ernestine Sicard, 88, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Rest Haven Care Center in Holland, Michigan. She was born October 9, 1929 to Jim and Ola (Hamlett) Jackson in Pauldin, Missouri. She married Ronald Sicard on May 25, 1963 and shared 48 years of marriage before his passing in 2011. Nadine attended the South Haven Beauty College to become a certified beautician. She later worked at the Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven and the South Haven Community Hospital before her eventual retirement. Nadine was a proud former member of the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church in South Haven where she assisted with rummage sales, organizing fund raisers, and ushering. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in South Haven.

She is preceded in death along with her parents and husband by a son-in-law – Michael Todd.

Nadine is survived by three daughters – Mitzi (Perry) Todd-Williams of Florida, Phoebe (Troy) Jorgensen and Penny Sicard both of South Haven, Michigan. Six grandchildren – Margaret (Doug) Smith, Michael (Amelia) Todd Jr., Matthew Todd, Alicia Wioskowski, Heather Jorgensen and Cameron Jorgensen. Sister – Flora (Garnett) Foster of Pascola, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Hope Reformed Church with Father Rick Turner officiating.
