Theodore's Obituary
Theodore “Ted” Danczyk, Jr., 86, of South Haven, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. He was born June 28, 1931 to Theodore and Genevieve (Peterson) Danczyk, Sr., in Bangor, Michigan. Ted married Barbara Rutledge on January 26, 1951 in South Haven and shared 65 years of marriage until her passing in 2016. Ted worked for the South Haven Rubber Company for 35 years he also worked for the City of South Haven as a beach parking attendant for ten years. He enjoyed fishing and being out doors.
He is preceded in death along with his wife and parents by a daughter – Jean Danczyk, son – Michael Danczyk, and sisters – Mary Carp and Shirley Danczyk.
Ted is survived by his children – Karen (Dave) Leffel, Ron (Jan) Danczyk, and Joanne Danczyk all of South Haven, and brother – John C. Danczyk of South Haven. Thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2017 with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating at the Stephenson Cemetery in Casco Township.
