Diana B. Dutkowski

Diana B. Dutkowski, 78, of South Haven, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at her home under Hospice care with her family by her side. Diana was born October 22, 1937 to William and Florence (Stasik) Bailey in South Haven. She married Richard Dutkowski on June 11, 1960 in Saugatuck and shared 53 years of marriage before his passing in 2013.

Diana and her husband owned and operated Sunset Blueberry Farms for many years. She also taught at Smith School, and worked at Sears and Walmart in South Haven. Diana would volunteer her time at the South Haven Community Hospital and was a member of the New Richmond Methodist and attended Casco United Methodist Church.

Diana is survived by her daughter – Lori Dutkowski of South Haven; grandchildren – Jeremy (Monica) of South Haven, Jimmy of South Haven, TJ (Abby) of Jenison, Nicklas (Holly) of Jenison, and Celina Schnooberger, Cayley, and Skyler Reidess all of South Haven and Brooke Kosloski of Hudsonville; 12 great grandchildren; brother – Darel (Mary Lou) Bailey of Fennville; aunt – Joan Skinner of Fennville; sister-in-law – Virginia (George) Whitney of California, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years – Richard Dutkowski; parents – William Darel and Florence Bailey; brother – Elmer Charles Bailey; grandparents – Charles and Agnes Staski.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven.  Funeral services will follow visitation at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Messner officiating. Diana will be laid to rest in McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. Contributions may be made in Diana’s memory to South Haven’s Hospice at Home, 05055 Blue Star Highway, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
