Allen's Obituary
Allen “Al” G. Remley, 79, of South Haven, Michigan died on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Bronson Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born September 9, 1936 to Louis and Ethel(Davison) Remley. Al married Mary Wasegesic on September 8, 1956 in Tower, MI. Al worked for South Haven Rubber, Controlled Rubber, and AirBoss for a combined 25 before retiring in 2000. He also worked at Vanderzee Buick and Pontiac as well as Sieler Auto. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Haven.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his brother Ernest.
Al is survived by his wife, Mary Remley of South Haven; children -Theresa (David) Stieve of Lansing, MI; Michele “Shelli” Remley of South Haven, MI; Larry (Demi) Lambert of Minneapolis, MN; and Lisa (Richard) Keller of Elgin, IL. His grandchildren Trisha (Mark) Kloha, Kenneth (Latisha) Tomsa, and Ricky (Nora) Keller. His sisters Leona (Jim) Bake, Joan Barrette, Ellen (Joe) Sarasin, and Linda Ormsbee. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Matthew Remley and Glen Miller officiating. Contributions may be made in Al’s memory to the Al-Van Human Society.
