Clyde's Obituary
Clyde Bryant Wilson, 73, of South Haven, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Health Center in St. Joseph. He was born April 25, 1941 to Fred and Frances (Greenwood) Wilson in Monette, Arkansas. He married Linda Dordon on April 28, 1973. Clyde worked for the City of South Haven for 21 years before retiring in 2003. Clyde enjoyed spending time with friends and family, special adventures with his granddaughters, Lilli, Alyssa, and Lauren and outdoor activities such as racing dragon boats, kayaking, mountain biking, and hiking.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his son – Kim Wilson and grandson – Steven Bossardet
Clyde is survived by his wife – Linda of South Haven; children – Tom (Connie) Wilson of Holland, Crystal Warren of Holland, Lisa Bartlett, Dustin (Vicki) Wilson both of South Haven, and Staci Hunt of Alaska; daughter-in-law – Lora Wilson of Holland; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; siblings – Pat (Roger) Pacheco of Biggers, Arkansas, Jerry (Ann) Wilson of Chicora, Michigan, John (Margo) and Mark (Vicki) Wilson both of Hamilton.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Clyde will be laid to rest at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. Contributions may be made in Clyde’s memory to the South Haven Area Emergency Services.
