Jack Edward's Obituary
Jack Edward Rice, 66, of South Haven died Wednesday, May 10 at his home.
He was born November 6, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles and Eilen (Koski) Rice. Jack loved his family and enjoyed truck driving and fishing.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by a son – Todd Rice.
He is survived by his wife Nelda Rice of South Haven, Michigan. His children – Donna (John) Zak of Dearborn, Michigan, Barbara (Don) Martin of Holly, Michigan, Philip (Kelly) Woodcox of Melvin, Michigan, Robert (Gina) Johnson of South Haven, Michigan, Kevin (Janet) Johnson Hopkins, Michigan, Obie (Cindy) Johnson of Wyoming, Michigan, Melissa (James) Middleton of South Haven, Michigan and Mark (Wendy) Johnson of Grand Junction, Michigan. 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. His twin sister – Jacqueline (Donald) McAfee and sisters – Margaret (Wayne) Bates and Joanne Hampsher.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 20 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lacota Methodist Church with Rev. John Slater officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society at 5110 S. Sprinkle Rd., Portage, Michigan 49006 or Wings of Hope Hospice at 516 Linn St., Allegan, Michigan 49010.
