Ralph Weldon's Obituary
Ralph Weldon Gilliam, 81, of South Haven died Sunday, February 11 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
He was born November 11, 1925 in Clinton, Arkansas to Russell and Verna Alice Gilliam.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his son – Kenneth Weldon Gilliam who died in 2006.
He is survived by 6 children – Peggy Ann Landrum of Little Rock, Arkansas, Ralph Raymond Gilliam of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Mary Jane “Totsie” Shellman of Kokomo, Indiana, Cathern Faye Evans of South Haven, Michigan, Russell “Rusty” Gilliam and Larry D. Gilliam both of Kokomo, Indiana. 7 Step-children – Betty Jean Hamilton, Mary Jo Landrum, Sandy Lee Patterson, Rosie Ellen Dowden, Billy Wayne Morton, Mike Alan Morton, Ronnie Owen Morton all of Little Rock, Arkansas. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. One brother – Tom Gilliam of Pell City, Alabama and one sister – Evelyn Lowrance of South Bend, Indiana also survive.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 15 from6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Billy Long officiating.
